The Driveline

The engine is a .040 over 5.0 block (308c.i.) with Speed-pro flat top pistons and about 10.2:1 compression.
Boss 302 widage tray,Moroso deep sump pan,All A.R.P. hardware, X-303 Hydrolic roller camshaft which has .542/.542 lift and 224/224 duration at .050 lift.
The Heads are`65 289`s with 1.94/1.60 valves, with fully enlarged and ported exhaust ports and matched intake ports, Crane "gold"roller rockers, and comp cams springs.
The Intake is an Offenhauser tunnel ram with 2 Holley 450cfm carbs.
The transmission is a C-4 with a Hipsters reverse full manual valve body,Kevlar bands,and fully re-inforced and machined clutch drums .The trans ,and the 10 inch 3,800 stall converter were built by Godleys transmissions in Moultrie Ga.
The rearend is a 9 inch from a 1957 Ford, It has a set of ANCIENT Ansen "ground grabber" traction bars, and it has 4.11 gears and a mini spool. I`ll get rid of the spool set up and go with a Powertrac posi unit later, spools arent very good for street driving!
The front suspension has been totally rebuilt with a PST polygraphite kit,and upgraded to 1976 Maverick disc brakes. It also has Summit 3 way adjustable drag shocks.
The exhaust system consists of Hooker Headers and 3 inch pipes with three chamber flowmasters and Turn downs,it is Not very quiet!
